Rock in Rockingham - Bellows Falls, VT

August 15 - 18, 2003.


My friend Nash and I flew my Cessna 172 from Covington, GA to Springfield, VT to attend the two day "Rock in Rockingham" music festival, featuring artists Kristin Hersh and Tanya Donelly.

On the way up we stopped at three places for fuel: Martinsville, VA (KMTV), Front Royal Airport, VA (KFRR), and Kutztown, PA (N31). The total trip took about 11 hours each way during which we spent about 10 hours flying and burned about 80 gallons of avgas. (Total: 20 hours flight time, 160 gallons of 100LL Avgas. Total fuel cost: ~$400)

The shows were great and all the people were wonderful! A special Thank You to Tanya, Kristin, Billy O., David Narcizo, the Fort Apache crew, and everyone else involved in this memorable event!
