Urban Owl
I ran across a Bard Owl while walking through my neighborhood the other evening just before dusk!

10/31 Edit: It has been pointed out that the correct name is Barred Owl.
Wandering around Boston
A couple of weeks ago Nonfucious and myself traveled to Boston for a few days. We didn’t do any Urban Exploring, but we did wander around downtown while Geocaching and took some pictures.
PSA: If you are going to be doing any photography in Boston; apparently the use of a tripod is not allowed on the MTA. I got chased off by MTA security quite abruptly for setting my small tripod up and snapping a couple of pictures.
Enjoy!

The Love Shack
This dilapidated old apartment building sits on the edge of a decommissioned neighborhood near the Atlanta Airport. The rest of the neighborhood has been leveled and the roads closed off.
This place looks like it was interesting a long time ago, and then fell into disrepair – long before being abandoned. The nice hardwood floors were covered with linoleum at one point. Several layers of paint are peeling from the walls, and the outside siding had even been “repaired” with roofing shingles in many spots.
This was another AUEL adventure.
